Pipeline GA4 Tables - Items Table
- Table name:
ga4_mrt_items
- Scoping: Item Level (This is only for eCommerce websites).
- Table Contains: Item level dimensions and metrics.
- Each Row Presents: One row per item
When e-commerce actions take place such as purchases or viewing product details, GA4 creates “events”.
Within these eCommerce events, there are specific pieces of information at Item level. This includes information such as item name, category, price and quantity.
Each row of this table represents a different item, and the details associated with it.
Dimensions - Keys
Keys are unique IDs that help track and organise data.
In this table there are identifiers for different sessions, clients and streams which can allow you to dig into specific sessions or clients etc.

These date fields come in different formats - both timestamp and date.
If you are unsure of which column to use, use date__session_start_dt
